Parenting Coaching

Practical tools and support for parents who want guidance, not a diagnosis.

Parenting is rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming. Sometimes families do not need therapy, they need a knowledgeable, supportive partner who can help them better understand their child, build confidence, and create strategies that work in everyday life.

Parenting coaching is a skills-focused service designed to support caregivers as they navigate challenges, strengthen connection, and feel more confident in their parenting approach.

Together, we focus on what is happening right now and create practical strategies that fit your child, your family, and your values.

How Parenting Coaching Is Different

Parenting coaching focuses on supporting the caregiver directly. The child is not present during coaching sessions. Instead, sessions provide dedicated time for parents to better understand their child's needs, learn practical strategies, and build confidence in responding to everyday challenges.

Parenting Coaching

  • Caregiver-focused support; the child does not participate in sessions
  • Focuses on education, strategies, and problem-solving around current parenting challenges
  • Helps parents understand behavior, strengthen connection, and feel more confident
  • Does not involve diagnosing or treating a mental health condition
  • Private pay service with flexible support based on your goals

Child Therapy

  • Focuses on emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns that require clinical treatment
  • May involve individual therapy, play therapy, or caregiver involvement depending on the child's needs
  • May include diagnosis and treatment planning when clinically appropriate
  • Can be provided through insurance or private pay

Family Therapy

  • Focuses on relationships and patterns within the family system
  • May include multiple family members participating together in sessions
  • Addresses communication, conflict, transitions, connection, and family dynamics
  • Helps families understand each other and create healthier ways of interacting

If your family's needs change and therapy becomes a better fit, we will talk through that openly and help determine the next best step.
